National Steam Boat Monument

Located on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati, Universal was responsible for the construction of this one-of-a-kind National Steam Boat Monument. This project included constructing a new plaza over the auto gate to the public landing, concrete stairs to the public landing, the American Queen’s Paddle Wheel on 30′ pedestals above the new plaza, and interactive stainless steel torches which blow steam. This monument is an artistic description of the Ohio River history.
