One of the newest trends in the construction industry is the incorporation of Green Building concepts into the design and construction of buildings. More and more Owners understand the need to create a sustainable building through the implementation of the best practices established by the U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC has developed a certification process that utilizes environmentally responsible practices for both the design and construction of a building.

We have the expertise to help with the implementation of Green practices. In fact, Universal was instrumental in achieving Silver Certification on one of its projects. This Silver Certification, as issued by USGBC, was the first Silver Certification issued in the State of Ohio and, at that time, was the highest certification level achieved in the State of Ohio.
